What we appreciate increases in our lives.
Gratitude connects us with our hearts.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life, it turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.
You can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
Both abundance and lack exist simultaneously in our lives as parallel realities.
It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend.
When we choose not to focus on what is missing but are grateful for the abundance that is present, the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth.
I give thanks for the ten thousand joys and ten thousand sorrows that are all a part of being a human and living in this body.
I give thanks for the opportunity to live one more day.
I am thankful for the beauty of the sun rising over the glistening ocean.
I am grateful for the sound of the waves and the smell of the salt water.
I give thanks for the lapping of the water as it gently rocks me back and forth, mother nature herself cradling me as I float.
I am thankful for the stars and the northern lights traveling across the heavens to sparkle and delight my nighttime gazing. And the moon silently reminding us of our interconnection on this earth.
I give thanks for the deep stillness of a snow frosted north woods, silent white beauty bright.
I feel grateful for my soft cozy socks and a mug of creamy hot chai and a crackling glowing fire on a cold wet day.
I am grateful for the angels who appeared in my life when i was stuck ill fearful confused.
I give thanks for the sun when its light filters through the branches of the trees and shines its warmth over me.
I am grateful for the gentle warm rain that blesses my body with fresh sweet air. The serenade of birds are lullaby of crickets and cicadas on a warm humid summer night.
I am grateful to gaze into the soul of a loved one’s eyes and experience the bliss of deep connection.
There is something about the mental act of thanksgiving that seems to carry the human mind far beyond the region of doubt into the clear atmosphere of faith and trust, where all things are possible.
i rest now in the arms of the beloved the one who remembers who i truly am the one who calls me home to receive this gift of gratitude.
Do you?
