How do I think the world would be in 1% of the world’s population was complaint free?

Einstein said no genius has ever used more than 18% of the brains but today’s geophysicist say no Tina says ever use more than 10% of the brain. The majority of us mumbled and get around with five, six, seven percent.

If we’ve been able to stay alive at all, alive and future thinking. Alive and having enough courage to care for each other. Enough courage to love. And know that we are probably one one percent of sixty million free of complaints. Imagine who would we be!

Who would we be if we were one percent of six hundred million? Six billion? What would happen?

I tell you one thing, I think war would be laughed out of the room. I think the very word… if somebody said war another person would say you mean am I supposed to kill somebody because he doesn’t agree with me? Ha, I don’t think so.

Just imagine … people would speak kind, they’re more kindly to each other. Courtesy would be invited back into the living room, into the bedroom, into the children’s room, into the kitchen.

If 1% of our world were complaint free, we would care more about the children and realize that every child is our child. The black one and the white one, the pretty one the plain one, the Asian and the Muslim, the Japanese and the Jewish. Everyone is our child.

If we were just 1% free of complaints imagine that we would stop blaming other people for our mistakes and hating them because they caused the mistake in our minds.

Just imagine if we laughed more frequently if we had the unmitigated courage to touch each other. It would be a just beginning of paradise you know

1. Want more for others than you want for yourself

Whatever it is that you perceive to be missing. Whatever health problems that you may have, whatever addictions you’re struggling with, whatever lack of love that you have in your life, whatever lack of peace that you have with your aunt’s and your uncles or your parents or your in-laws, want the peace that you seek for yourself more for them want it more for them. That is how we create this level of consciousness.

2. Think from the end

Begin to see yourself surrounded by the people and the events and the things that you would like to have only see yourself. You’re having a problem with an addiction see yourself as addiction free. It having the instant knowing and awareness that I can create what I want for myself in my life and the way that I do it is I act as if it’s already here and you just and almost like they won’t be they won’t be denied it that’s what intention is it’s not that pit bull attitude it’s that awareness that I am thinking from the end it’s already here because everything that you think is missing from your life is already here.

3. Be an appreciator in your life

Be an appreciator, look for that which is valuable rather than worthless. If you’re an appreciator you have more value. When you depreciate you take your value away when you appreciate you make yourself valuable what could be more valuable than being connected to source.

4. Stay in rapport with Source Energy

Your job here is to be in a state of harmony with this constantly reminding yourself is this how my source thinks.

5. Resistance: Every thought that you have that is other than that which you emanated from is resistance

Every thought that you have that is other than that which you emanated from is resistance, every unkind thought every uncreated thought every thought of judgment every thought of fear every thought of depression every thought of it can’t happen all resistance. So if you say well easy for him he can talk about this but I can’t that’s resistance. You’re right absolutely even if you think all of this is a bunch of nonsense you’re absolutely right you’re absolutely, because for you that’s what you believe and if you believe that the universal source will help you to fulfill that belief.

6. Contemplate yourself as surrounded by the conditions which you want to produce

Contemplate yourself that, because the way, you are one with source you are always one with source you are one with all of its principles all of those phases you are one with it. It can’t be anything other than it is neither can you.

7. Understand the art of allowing

Allowing means taking the path of least resistance. Every time you have a thought that doesn’t that it that has resistance in it what you have done is you have created an absence of allowing. You have to you have to almost think like Here I am here and here’s Source how much energy can I pull from it. Are you pulling energy from Source or are you away from it.

8. Practice radical humility

You are not this body that you are in. You are not this mind that you are in. You are not any of the possessions that you have. You are a Divine Source.

9. Be in a constant state of Gratitude

Be grateful for everything that shows up everything. Stay in a state of being generous and grateful in your life. Because what could be more generous than that which has allowed you to come from the infinite source to this material world and back.

10. You can never resolve a problem by condemning it.

Any problem that you have, when you use shame, you are using the lowest energy that’s out there in the universe. You cannot shame your way into higher consciousness, into Source Energy.

11. Play the match game play

Always ask yourself am i matched up with the field of intention.

12. Meditate

Make it a practice in your life. Meditation is essential because it is your way of staying connected to Source. What is the only thing in the universe that can’t be divided? You cannot divide God. Everything else has an up-down north-south east-west male/female right wrong black white alive dead everything comes in dichotomies except for silence. Silence you cut it in half what do you get more silence cut it in half again more silence. Cut Source in half just more Source, you can’t divide it. Meditation stay in the gap.

The Buddha And The Beggar

Transcript

There’s a really famous story that I’ve been hearing in Thailand and I want to share it with the whole world if I could. This is the story about the Buddha and a homeless man.

What's standing between you and success? One day there was a homeless man and he’s been trying to gather food. He keeps noticing every day his food would disappear. One day he caught the mouse that kept stealing his food and he asked the mouse why are you stealing from me? I’m a homeless man, you can steal from richer people than me and it won’t have any effect on them.

The mouse then told the homeless man that “It is in your destiny that you can only have eight items in your possession… no matter how much you beg… no matter how much you gather, because all you’ll be able to have.”

The homeless man was shocked and said: “Why is that my destiny?” and the mouse said: “I don’t know, you should try and ask the Buddha.”

So the homeless man goes on his journey to go find the Buddha and as he is going it gets late so he ends up at a wealthy family’s house and ask if he can stay the night. They let him in and ask him “young man why are you traveling so late?” and he answered “I have a question for the Buddha and tomorrow I’ll be on my way.”
The family then says “can we give you a question to ask the Buddha? We have a 16 year old daughter who can’t speak we just want to ask what do we have to do
to have her speak?” So the homeless man thanks them for shelter and tells them of course of ask your question for you.

The next morning he goes continue his journey and sees a sea of mountains that he has to cross. He climbs up one mountain and he meets a wizard. The wizard decides to use his staff to take the young man and himself, fly them across
the sea of mountain.. and the wizard asks the young man “where are you going, why are you deciding to cross these mountains?

The young man said I am going to ask the Buddha a question about my destiny. The wizard then says “Can I please give you a question to ask the Buddha? I’ve been trying to go to heaven for a thousand years according to my teaching I should be able to go to heaven now. Can you please ask the Buddha what do I have to do to get to heaven?”

Of course I’ll ask your question for you. As he continues on his journey he runs into his last obstacle which is a river that he cannot cross. Luckily he meets a giant turtle who decides to take them across the river. As they’re crossing the river the turtle ask “where are you going?”


I’m going to see the Buddha I’m going to ask him a question about my destiny. The turtle then says “Would you please ask a question for me – I’ve been trying to become a dragon for five hundred years according to my teaching I should have become a dragon by now. Can you please ask the Buddha what do I have to do to become a dragon?”

So the young man thanks the turtle for taking them across the river and says of course I’ll ask your question for you.

The homeless man finally meets the Buddha and the Buddha tells everybody: “I will answer three questions for everybody here, but only three questions.”

The young man is shocked, he has four questions. So he thinks carefully. He thinks about the turtle the turtle has been living for 500 years trying to become a dragon, the wizard has been living for 1,000 years trying to get to heaven, that young girl is going to have to live her whole life being unable to speak. And then he looked at himself he says I’m just homeless beggar I can just go back home and continue begging.


So as he looked at everybody else’s problems his problem suddenly seemed so small. He feels sorry for the turtle, the wizard, and the young girl and the time to have all of their questions.

So he asked the Buddha and the Buddha answers: “The turtle is unwilling to leave the shell, as long as he unwilling to leave the comfort of his shell he will never become a dragon. The wizard always carries his staff and never put it down, it acts as an anchor keeping him from heaven. And as for the girl she’ll be able to speak when she meets her soulmate.”

So the homeless man bowed to the Buddha and went on a journey back home.

He reunites with the turtle and he tells the turtle: “Hey, you just have to take off your shell and you become a dragon.” The turtle then takes off his shell and inside the shell were priceless pearls found in the deepest parts of the ocean. And he gives it to the homeless man and tell them thank you, I no longer need this because I’m now a dragon and flies away.

The homeless man reunites with the wizard on the top of a mountain and says: “You just have to put down your staff and you’ll be able to go to heaven.” The Wizard let’s go is staff by giving it to the young man and says thank you and then ascends to heaven.

The young man now has wealth from the turtle and power from the wizard. He goes back to the family that gave him shelter and he tells them that: “the Buddha said your daughter will be able to speak when she meets her soulmate. And at that moment the daughter came downstairs and said: “Hey, is that the man that was here last week?” The young girl and the one homeless man had found their soulmate.

This story tells us so many things, so many lessons but for me I think that sometimes we have to give things in order to get somethings. Sometimes if we want to become a dragon, we want to become a lion, we have to be willing to leave behind what makes us most comfortable what makes us feel most safe. We have to leave our comfort zone just like the turtle did.

And in order to find true love we must become somebody who is willing to put others before ourselves.

When you’re alone and when you’re lost in your thoughts sometimes your problems seem so big, and it may seem like it is the end of the world. But if we look at other people’s lives, other people who don’t have as much opportunity as us and have it worse than us, sometimes it makes our problems seem so much smaller.

If we’re willing to lend a hand to those who are struggling more than us, willing to help them, it may change the course of your life, your destiny. And the universe may repay you in such a way that you never would have imagined.

It will come back to you. All the good that you do in the world will come back to you.

The Amazing Effects of Gratitude

Back in Ancient Rome, the philosopher Cicero described gratitude as the mother of all virtues.

This concept of being thankful has been stressed in religion and philosophy for a long time.

Back in 1820 Scottish philosopher Thomas Brown defined gratitude as “that delightful emotion of love to him who has conferred a kindness on us.”

But scientifically, gratitude doesn’t qualify as a basic emotion like joy, sadness or anger.

There’s no universal facial expression for it. As an emotion, gratitude is a little hard to define.

Today the Oxford Dictionary defines gratitude as “the quality or condition of being thankful; the appreciation of an inclination to return kindness.” And we’ve only really started to study gratitude scientifically in the past 30 years.

In a 2015 study, participants were asked to imagine how they would feel if a complete stranger saved their life. I mean, how would you feel? The participants had to rate how grateful they were to strangers who provided them with gifts of food and clothing – all while they had their brain scanned in an fMRI machine.

Researchers found their ratings of gratitude positively correlated with activity in brain areas associated with fairness and value judgements. It makes sense because gratitude is often thought of as a moral emotion.

There are even benefits in just noting how grateful you are. Another study asked people to write down three things that went well that day and why for one week. At the end of the week people were slightly happier than at the beginning, and over time, their happiness scores kept improving. After one month they were 5% happier and after six months they were 9% happier. Just from one week of writing a journal.

A similar study with participants with heart disease found that keeping a gratitude journal increased their heart health and quality of sleep, perhaps because it reduces stress. “Counting your blessings” quite literally makes people happier and healthier.

And some people are even hardwired to be more thankful. In a recent study of 77 couples, those with a particular genetic variation that affects the secretion of oxytocin expressed more gratitude towards their partners. Oxytocin is thought to play a big role in promoting close social bonds, so gratitude is part of the glue that keeps these relationships together.

So if you think it’s the thought that counts, think again. Science shows there are some pretty amazing benefits to our mind, body and relationships when we say those two small words – thank you.

I have asked that question of my students for years, and most of them say no.

Most of them want to find true happiness on their own, in a genuine way.

But how do you do that?

For the past decade, researchers have been developing a roadmap for the pursuit of happiness, suggesting, for instance that roughly 40% of our happiness is determined not by our genes,
but by our daily activities.
